Ebusua Dwarfs gave Accra Hearts of Oak a scare on Sunday but ended up losing 3-2 to the Phobians on match day 15 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Cape Coast lads who went down to two first half goals, put in a brave fight to stage a comeback in the second half only to lose the game 3-2 after a last gasp Isaac Mensah strike. Dwarfs have lost three home games this season, falling to Medeama (1-0), Asante Kotoko (1-0) and Karela United (2-1).

King Faisal have a game in hand against Asante Kotoko but sit among the bottom three clubs in the League with 14 points from 15 matches.  Star man, Kwame Pepprah who made headlines on match day one after scoring a brace and making an assist against WAFA, has had no turning back since the competition took off.

He netted the match winner against Medeama on match day 14 to increase his tally to 8 goals in the season. The former Kaaseman FC forward is King Faisal’s best player thus far scoring 8 and providing four assists.

King Faisal have not won a single match away from home, but will draw inspiration from the two draws against Bechem United and Legon Cities.

They have leaked 13 goals and scored 8 in the process. The match against Ebusua Dwearfs is scheduled for Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Cape Coast stadium.
