Koforidua Technical University Park will take centre stage in youth football development this January as it hosts the Eastern Regional kick-off of the U15 Girls Colts League.
The competition gets underway on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 8am, marking a major milestone in the region’s efforts to nurture young female football talent.
Organised under the FIFA League Development initiative, the tournament is designed to provide a structured, competitive platform for aspiring footballers at the grassroots level. The U15 Girls Colts League plays a vital role in identifying and developing future stars, with a strong focus on technical skills, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship from an early age.
Beyond the matches, the campaign represents a broader celebration of women’s football and youth empowerment. Guided by the themes #LivingFootball and #InspireGreatness, the league seeks to build character, promote healthy competition and inspire confidence among young girls with dreams of excelling in the sport.
