Ebusua Dwarfs and Inter Allies shared spoils in a barren draw on match-day 12 of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League at Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Visiting Allies dominated the game as they, led by predator Victorien Adebayor, started with so much determination, creating a plethora of chances which they squandered.

Dwarfs had goalkeeper Razak Issah to thank as he served as the major stumbling block that denied Inter Allies a goal.

The hosts managed just an effort on target compared to Inter Allies’ seven.

Dwarfs head coach Ernest Thompson was left concerned by the output of his attack in the game.

“Our tactics at the back to mark out Adebayor worked. You could see he struggled but we rather were poor in attack. Things just did not click up there - something we would be looking to improve in subsequent games,” he noted in a pitch-side interview.

Tonny Lokko, the head coach for Inter Allies also stated: “We came out for the win and did all that we could by attacking and creating good chances but things did not go right as expected. Taking a point home is equally satisfactory though we could have won the three points.”

Inter Allies left-back Fard Ibrahim was named NASCO Man-of-the-Match.

On 11 points, Ebusua Dwarfs occupy 16th spot on the league table while Inter Allies are up at 11th position with 15 points after 12 matches.
