Former champions Dreams FC will face off with Heart of Lions in a compelling quarter-final clash of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday, with both teams battling for a coveted place in the semi-finals of Ghana’s most competitive domestic cup competition.

The highly anticipated encounter will take place at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday March 15, 2026, where two ambitious sides will look to take a decisive step closer to silverware.

Dreams FC enter the contest boasting strong pedigree in the FA Cup. The Believers famously lifted the trophy during the 2022/23 season, defeating King Faisal Babies 2–0 in the final played at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Their proven experience in knockout football makes them one of the most dangerous sides in the competition, and they will be aiming to replicate that success as they push for another deep run in the tournament.

Dreams FC secured their place in the quarter-finals this season after eliminating former Premier League side Inter Allies FC in an entertaining 4–2 victory at the Tuba Astroturf. The thrilling six-goal contest highlighted their attacking strength and determination to compete for the trophy once again.

Heart of Lions, meanwhile, are enjoying an impressive FA Cup campaign and will be eager to make history. The Kpando-based club have shown resilience throughout the competition, overcoming tough opponents to reach this stage.

Their most recent triumph came in the Round of 16, where they edged past second-tier side True Life FC with a hard-fought 3–2 victory, securing their place in the last eight.

Now standing on the brink of a historic achievement, Heart of Lions will be aiming to reach the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup for the first time in their history.
