In the Northern Zone, all eyes will be on the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale on Friday, October 31, 2025, where two exciting encounters will mark the official kick-off of the new campaign. The day’s action begins at 10:00 a.m. with a mouthwatering clash between FC Savannah and perennial contenders Ampem Darkoa Ladies. Later in the afternoon, at 3:00 p.m., Northern Ladies will lock horns with Prisons Ladies in what promises to be another fiercely contested showdown.
The Southern Zone will also serve up a double dose of football drama at the Madina Astro Turf. The defending champions, Police Ladies, begin their title defence against Halifax Queens at 1:30 p.m., before Epiphany Warriors take on Army Ladies at 3:30 p.m. to wrap up the opening day’s fixtures.
The double-header format adds an extra layer of excitement to the league’s curtain-raiser, giving fans the opportunity to witness back-to-back action from some of the most talented female footballers in the country.
Proudly sponsored by Malta Guinness, the Women’s Premier League continues to grow as the flagship competition for women’s football in Ghana, providing a vital platform for talent development, empowerment, and sporting excellence.
