Division One returns from short break

Fresh from the festive season, the Division One League bounces back this weekend as the campaign reaches match-day-3.

After their opening two rounds of matches, the New Year coupled with the break has certainly allowed the campaigners a time to take stock of the season so far.

There are still lots of points to play for as the tables will surely change before the end of the first round but clubs who have made good starts will want to cling onto their form.

But the early season form will be tested as the season continues in a busy month of footballing action for the nation with the African Cup of Nations set for kick off next weekend.

The weekend's fixtures started on Friday in Zone 3B where Power FC were 1-0 winners over Red Bull at the El-Wak Stadium.

However, the bulk of the action are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in the league.
