Date set for Referees fitness test

Twenty-seven referees and assistants would undergo fitness tests for selection of match officials to be nominated for the 2008 FIFA referees list.

The tests to be run under the supervision of the Ghana Football Association would come off on Friday, September 14 at the El-Wak stadium.

Seven female referees make up the numbers largely dominated by male match officials.

The under listed referees would begin the tests at 07:00 GMT.

Male match officials: Alex N. Kotey, Haruna Ayuba, William S. Agbovi, George Seija, Joseph O. Lamptey, Boadu A. Ayeboafo, Seidu Bomison Jr., Malik Salifu, Reginald Lathbridge, David Laryea, Cecil Fleischer, Quedraogo Dawood, Thomas Nunoo, Badium Ibrahim Adams, W. L. Quaye, David Adjin, Samuel K. Gyasi, Osei Agyemang, Charles Dowuona and Ruben Laryea.

Women match officials: Vivian Aggor, Abigail Sowah, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo, Mary Adam, Benedicta Wormade, Musah Zulhasfi and Mary Seidu.
