Daniel Laryea to officiate Kaizer Chiefs vs Al Masry CAF Confederation Cup clash

Ghana’s Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea has been appointed as Referee for this weekend’s CAF Confederation Cup match between Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa and Egypt’s Al Masry SC.

Daniel, who recently officiated in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, will be assisted by his compatriots Roland Nii Dodoo Addy (Assistant I), Paul Kodzo Atimaka (Assistant II), and Charles Benle Bulu (Fourth Official). Dlamini Zide Gilbert from Eswatini will serve as the Match Commissioner, while Onias Felix Tangawarima from Zimbabwe works as Referee Assessor.

Other officials for the match are Helvi Nuukongo Eliakim from Namibia - General Coordinator, Sinethemba Purity Mbatha from South Africa - Media Officer South, Eswatini’s Tengetile Patience Ndlandla - Security Officer, and Melissa Zage from South Africa - Broadcast Venue Manager. The match is scheduled for the new Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane at 15:00Hrs on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
