Damon to handle Ghana-Ivory Coast match

South African referee Jerome Damon will handle Saturday's African Nations Cup third place playoff between hosts Ghana and Ivory Coast.

Damon will be assisted by Achik Redouane of Morocco and Algerian, Djezzar Brahim at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The fourth official for the game is El Arjoune Abderrahim, the match referee for Ghana's losing semi-final game against Cameroon.

Former Ghana Football Association Chairman, Ben Koufie is the appointed head for the Technical Study Group for this particular game.

The Confederation of African Football released the names of match officials for the remaining two matches of the tournament on Friday.

Sunday's final between Cameroon and Egypt at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra will see Benin referee, Bonaventure Coffi Codjia taking charge.
