Kuuku Dadzie has set his sights on progressing past the group phase at the All Africa Games as he leads the Black Princesses to the Games.

The coach of the Ghana team has been preparing his side in Prampram ahead of next month's multi-sport Games in Mozambique.

"It is the wish of every Ghanaian to see the (Black) Princesses move on or progress to the last four and I also hope we can do it. We are hoping that we go pass the group stages," the Black Princesses head coach said.

Paired in Group B with South Africa, Zimbabwe and Tanzania, coach of the women's U-20 is optimistic about achieving something greater with the team when the competition gets underway from 3-18 September.

"Once we have qualified to participate in the competition, it means we are a force to reckon with , so we are not treating any team as strong or weak.

"The most important thing is to prepare very well so that we can meet them (opponents) squarely."

Having been in camp for a while now, Dadzie is happy with the way the girls are adapting to his methods.

"We are preparing the girls very well for the tournament and they are also responding well to training with the right motivation. So I believe we will live up to expectation."
