Daboase borehole project officially commissioned by President Simeon-Okraku

President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has commissioned the borehole project at the St. Martins Park at Daboase in the Wassa East District of the Western Region.

The St. Martins Park is the home venue for Division One League side Skyy FC and a Game Centre for the Western Regional Football Association.

President Simeon-Okraku was accompanied by the Western Regional Football Chairman Simon Ehomah Hon. Wilson Arthur – President of Skyy FC and Greater Accra Regional Football Association Chairman Samuel Aboabire.

The borehole project is an initiative of the Executive Council to improve domestic competitions across the football ecosystem. As a result, a number of projects in Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central and Brong Ahafo Regions have already been completed and commissioned by President Simeon-Okraku.

The project is fully funded by proceeds from the FIFA Forward 1.0.
