Crucial game to decide last promotion place

The final promotion slot to for the Glo Premier League will be decided on Sunday as BA Stars and Bechem FC go head-to-head on the last day.

After picking up wins on match-day-2 in the playoff campaign, the Zone I game at the Baba Yara Stadium will be fiercely contested.

BA Stars continued with their impressive campaign after beating Bazooka FC 4-0 on Thursday, a result that ensured that they stay top of the table with six points while Bechem were 2-1 winners over Upper East United.

Despite trialing BA Stars by two points and aware that a draw would win their opponents promotion, Bechem will be desirous of defeating their hosts int he final game to beat them to the sole premiership place.

The other group game will have no significance as who qualifies from Zone I.

Bottom placed, Upper East United with no point will welcome Bazooka FC, who have one point to their name to the Anane Boateng Stadium in Abrankese.

Two promotion places have already been secured for the 2010/2011 Glo Premier League season.

Mighty Jets were the first to qualify from Zone III with Dwarfs staging a return to the top flight after sealing promotion from Zone II.
