A Tema High Court has set next Thursday, September 24 as the ruling date on the matter brought against the Ghana Football Association by a supporter of Tema Youth FC.

The supporter, Daniel Rockson is seeking to have the court uphold the sport body’s decision to relegate the Tema-based club from the 16-club Glo Premier League.

Tema Youth were relegated from the elite competition after finishing in the bottom three following some point deductions that went against them in the final weeks to the end of the campaign due to the use of an unqualified player, Emmanuel Clottey.

The registration of the player was fraught with irregularities as the Disciplinary Committee ruled after Berekum Arsenals appealed against his use.

As a result, six points was taken off Tema Youth’s accumulated build up.
