The Competitions Department, led by Maxwell Caesar Kemeh, has expressed its appreciation to the Executive Council, clubs, stakeholders, media, and football fans for their immense contributions to the successful completion of the 2025/26 football season.

The Department first acknowledged the unwavering support of the Executive Council throughout the campaign, noting that the Council ensured the Department was adequately resourced to effectively carry out its responsibilities across all competitions.

The Competitions Department also extended its gratitude to the various stakeholders who played vital roles during the season. This includes the Ghana Police Service and personnel deployed at match venues, media officers, broadcast partners — APL for the Ghana Premier League, and Media 7 for the Access Bank Division One League and the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League — as well as referees. Their professionalism and dedication contributed significantly to the smooth organisation of competitions such as the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, Ghana Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, MTN FA Cup, Women’s FA Cup, and other GFA competitions.

Finally, the Department thanked supporters of all clubs for their commitment and passion throughout the season, acknowledging the crucial role fans play in the growth of Ghana football. The Department assured stakeholders of its commitment to delivering even more exciting and well-organised competitions in the 2026/27 season.
