The nationwide talent identification programme for the Black Starlets will continue in the Central Region on July 2, 2026, as coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle and his technical team search for the country's next generation of football stars.

The scouting exercise will take place at the Senya Breku AstroTurf and is scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m. Talented young footballers from across the region are expected to participate in the programme, which forms part of preparations for the next Black Starlets cycle.

Coach Mingle and his technical team will observe a series of matches and assessment games designed to evaluate players' technical abilities, tactical understanding, physical attributes and overall potential.

The scouting programme is specifically targeted at boys born in 2010 and 2011. Eligible players will have the opportunity to showcase their talents before the national team selectors and compete for places in the next phase of the selection process.

Players who impress the technical team during the regional screening exercise will be shortlisted for further assessment at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram. The final screening phase will enable the coaches to conduct a more detailed evaluation before assembling the next Black Starlets squad.
