Samuel Otis scored a first half goal to give Tamale City FC a 1-0 win against city rivals Real Tamale United in a match day 5 Zone One fixture at the Aliu Mahama stadium.

The result handed RTU their first defeat of the season and gave Tamale City the bragging rights, moving them to 7 points after five matches in Zone.

The Tamale showdown was the talk of town in the entire metropolis as RTU were touted as favourites going into the derby following their flying start to the campaign. But their title aspirations suffered a jolt on Wednesday after the defeat to their sworn rivals.

Still in the Zone, former Premier League side Tano Bofoakwa defeated Unity FC 2-1 at the Sunyani Coronation park.

Meanwhile League leaders Berekum Arsenal have a date with Techiman City on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Golden city park in Berekum. While, B.A United take on Yendi Gbewaa in the other match day 5 outstanding fixture.
