Berekum Chelsea have unveiled an expensive cast of 18 new players ahead of the new season on Sunday.

The champions today paraded their star signings which included Baba Adamu Amando, Charles Taylor and Gladson Awako.

The Berekum side have added to their squad Prince Anokye, Nurudeen Ali, Isaac Amponsah and Collins Addo.

Other signings are Solomon Asante, Abdul Kamara, Musah Mohammed, Alfred Okaikwei, Celestine Mberesima, Gafaru Abdullai, Kwaku Andoh, Richard Kissi-Boateng, Isaac Morgan, Habib Mohammed and Joseph Tachie-Mensah.

Coach of the side, Steve Pollack says he is happy with the players brought in as he hopes to blend experience with youth.

"It's good to have quality players and we have quite a number here including ex internationals. They can show the others what it means to play at the higher level and then hopefully the players who have had the exposure will help those other players get a better understanding of that," Pollack said.
