Fourteen sides, pitched together in the MTN FA Cup Round of 16 fixtures would be pushing for the remaining seven slots in the quarter-finals of the competition.

The remaining sides in the competition would be attempting to follow Asante Kotoko’s lead, after the Porcupine Warriors became the first team to book their place in the last-eight, edging Aduana Stars on penalties.

Eight Division One-based sides are still in the hunt for glory with the competition nearing the final stages.

Unity FC would welcome Nania FC to the Hwidiem Park while Bolga All Stars engage Starke FC at the Bolga Stadium. Both games are scheduled for Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, Universal Stars would attempt to upset Wa All Stars at the Techiman Tako Park. Medeama take on Sporting Mirren while D'international plays Berekum Arsenal at the Tema Sports Stadium.

For league leaders, Chelsea, their chances of a historic double this season could become a possibility.

The Berekum side, who enjoy a 13-point lead in the league, would need to overcome former premier league side, Eleven Wise on Thursday to improve their chances of a double when they travel to the Gyandu Park in Sekondi.

Heart of Lions, who had their game with New Edubiase called off last Wednesday due to a disciplinary hearing would have the chance to stage the game this round at the Kpando Park on Thursday.
