Black Maidens captain Seidatu Wahab has declared that her team is strong, ready and focused on one goal: retaining their title at the WAFU B U17 Girls Cup.
"We the Black Maidens are here to defend the trophy as my coach said, so we have a positive mind of winning tomorrow's game," a confident Wahab told the media ahead of their clash with Burkina Faso.
Reflecting on the team's journey, the captain expressed faith in her teammates and their preparation.
"With the training we have had since our qualifiers, we say we are strong and ready for this tournament. And also, I believe in my teammates. We know what we can do, that's why we are here."
