Candy Soccer Academy Ladies have been crowned champions of the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA) Women’s Division One League after a convincing 2–0 victory over Gyagba Ladies in the decisive final league match.
The title-deciding encounter was played on Saturday at the Penkwasi AstroTurf in Sunyani, where Candy Soccer Academy Ladies delivered an impressive performance to secure the championship.
Perpetual Tuah emerged as the heroine of the day, scoring both goals to hand her side the important win. Her brace ensured Candy Soccer Academy Ladies maintained control of the match and sealed the victory in style.
The triumph crowns a strong campaign for the team, whose consistency and determination throughout the league have earned them the regional title. Their victory over Gyagba Ladies confirmed their status as the best-performing side in the competition this season.
Following their championship success, Candy Soccer Academy Ladies have now qualified to participate in the Regional Middle League.
