The Ghana Football Association has announced that the purchase process for the 2008/09 Glo Premier League radio rights has been extended.

In view of the decision, the FA invites interested parties wishing to run live radio commentaries to express and register their interest by December 31. The process was originally closed on December 18.

A statement signed by Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the FA, said, radio stations, individuals and organizations interested in running live commentaries must contact the head office of the Ghana Football Association in Accra for the agreement forms.

With the elite league being its flagship competition, the media rights for the Glo Premier League will be open to all and marketed to exploit the competition across multiple platforms.

The Ghana Football Association on Tuesday announced a new five-year sponsorship deal with new telecommunication company, Glo Mobile Ghana as title sponsor for the premier league.

A $3 million deal was signed for the first year of the deal with an upward increment expected for the remaining four years of the agreement.
