Black Stars leave for match venue

The Black Stars have left the capital, Accra for the match venue of Saturday's World Cup qualifier, Sekondi where they would play Lesotho.

The team completed their three-day training programme in Accra with a test game against Fete Feyenoord, a division one side, drawing 1-1 at the El–Wak Sports Stadium.

Feyernoord, scored the opener 20 minutes into the start of the game before Zamalek striker, Junior Agogo got the equaliser before the first half ended.

They have also lost their first position on the African continent to Cameroon, and now occupies the 3rd position, behind the pharaohs of Egypt.

Ghana, third on the table plays Lesotho at home at the Sekondi Sports Stadium in the final Group 5 match with a good win expected to guarantee the Black Stars a place amongst the final 20 teams who would play for the five qualifying spots available to Africa at the 2010 World Cup.
