The Black Stars are set to depart Vienna for Stuttgart, Germany, on Saturday following the defeat to Austria on Friday. The team will regroup as they prepare for their second crucial friendly against Germany.

The match against Ralf Rangnick's Austrian side saw the Black Stars hold their own in the first half, but a strong second-half surge from Austria, which yielded four goals, ultimately secured a decisive victory. Despite a consolation goal from captain Jordan Ayew, the result has given coach Otto Addo and his squad plenty to reflect on.

The team is now expected to shift their focus to one of the world's footballing giants. Ghana is scheduled to face Germany in Stuttgart on Monday, March 30, 2026.

This fixture represents another significant test for Otto Addo’s squad as they fine-tune their preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Canada, and the United States of America in June.

The Black Stars will hold training sessions in Germany on both Saturday and Sunday before confronting the four-time World Champions on Monday.
