The local Black Stars rounded up preparations for Sunday's African Nations Championship fina round qualifying with a 4-1 win over division one side, Great Olympics on Wednesday.

The test game formed part of Ghana's build-up towards the first leg final round qualifier against Nigeria.

The local Black Stars would play against Nigeria on November 30 over a two-leg fixture with the winner going through to the finals of the maiden tournament organised by the Confederation of African Football.

A brace by Yaw Antwi in the first half and one each from Kotoko duo Eric Bekoe and Kwadwo Poku handed the national side the win with Ismaila Idrissu scoring the consolation for Great Olympics.

Ghana is pursuing a place at the first African Nations Championship. The Black Stars come up against Nigeria in the last qualifying match to reach the finals of the Championship.

The Black Stars reached the final round stage after completing the double over Niger in April.

Ivory Coast will host the maiden competition from the 22nd February-8th March 2009.

The Africa Nations Championships is a new tournament designed by Caf for only home-based players of its member countries.
