The Black Starlets continued their preparations for the upcoming WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship with an impressive 4–1 victory over Attram Di Visser Academy in a friendly match.

The national U-17 side started brightly, with Michael Awuli and Eric Adu Gyamfi finding the net in the first half to give the Starlets a comfortable lead going into the break.

After the restart, Gavi Robinho Yao extended the advantage with a third goal before Attram Di Visser pulled one back. However, skipper Joseph Narbi sealed the win with a fine strike to restore the three-goal cushion for the Black Starlets.

The match formed part of the team’s ongoing build-up to the 2025 WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship, set to be staged in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, later this month.

Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum and his technical team will take positives from the performance as they continue to fine-tune the squad ahead of the tournament, which also serves as the qualification pathway to the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Starlets will play more friendly matches in the coming days as they step up preparations to represent Ghana with pride on the regional stage.
