The Black Satellites will train on Thursday evening as they continue preparations for Saturday’s Africa U20 Cup of Nations final match against Uganda.

The national U20 team beat Gambia by a lone goal in the semi-final stage of the competition on Monday with the Ugandans also winning their game against Tunisia 4-1.

A recovery session was held on Tuesday afternoon at the Chiekha Ould Boidiya Stadium for all players who played in the semi-finals game as well as the substitutes.

Coach Abdul Karim Zito then took the team through an intensive training session on Wednesday evening where he rolled out his tactics for the game against the Ugandans on Saturday.

Nathaniel Adjei who was ruled out of the game against Gambia due to injury, returned to training on Wednesday as well as Benjamin Aloma.

The team was taken through the mandatory Covid-19 test on Thursday morning and is expected to return to the training grounds on Thursday evening before a final session on Friday.

Black Satellites will be four time champions of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations after a win over their Ugandan counterparts on Saturday.
