The Black Galaxies have departed Ghana for South Africa ahead of an international friendly against Bafana Bafana, scheduled for Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.

The team made up of the playing body, technical team and management left Accra on Saturday 13th December via Ethiopian airways.

The match will serve as a key preparatory fixture for the Black Galaxies as they gear up for the CHAN qualifiers, while South Africa will use the encounter to fine-tune preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey’s 20-man squad have been in intensive training ahead of the trip and will be aiming to make a strong impression against the hosts.
