In the list of Bechem United’s ambitions, qualifying for the premier league and becoming a major force in Ghana football remains their topmost priority.

The club seeking qualification to the elite division after last season’s failed attempt remain in the hunt for a play-off place as they sit at the summit of Zone 1B after the first round of the Division One League.

Before the second round of the division one campaign resumes, Bechem United FC will be attempting to claim glory outside Ghana as they participate in the 24th edition of Italy’s Trofeo Rocco Nero Tournament.

Drawn among some sixteen youth sides from around the world, the Ghanaian side are expecting to maintain their momentum in the local campaign when they travel to Italy on Thursday to compete in the 8-day tournament which kicks off April 24 to May 1 in Venezia.

Having participated in similar competitions in Italy in recent times after the Trofeo Karol Wojtyla and Trofeo Romeo and Juliet events, Bechem United believes they are capable of making an impact which will boost their premiership ambitions.
