League leaders Karela United will on Friday, play away to Bechem United in a matchday six fixture at the Fosu Gyeabuor park at Bechem.

This is a battle between two unbeaten sides in the ongoing League. Karela United lead the league table with 11 points from five games following an impressive start to the season.

Karela are unbeaten in five games, recording three wins and two draws in the five-week-old League competition.

They have gone unbeaten at home for three seasons, an enviable record that dates back to the 2016/17 season. The Ainyinase based beat King Faisal 2-0 on Sunday to go top of the league.

On the road they have shown class thus far, drawing with AshantiGold and Accra Hearts of Oak, making the trip to Bechem less humongous as they hope to maintain their position on the league log.

Franklin Osei, Umar Bashiru, Sadiq Alhassan and Diawusie Taylor have been their stand out performers this season. The quartet are expected to show the way against a hungrier Bechem United side Friday afternoon.

The home side are also unbeaten in four games having registered two wins and two draws (W2 D2) with one game in hand (against AshantiGold).

The Hunters, last week secured a rear win against Inter Allies at the Accra sports stadium in an away fixture, a win that pushed them up the ladder.

Bechem United look favourites heading into this game due to their home invincibility. But Karela United have demonstrated this season that they are no push overs especially in away games.
