Bechem United failed to get off the New Year with an improvement as their season continues to follow the same pattern just like they started.

The premiership debutants fell to a 3-0 defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday to Mighty Jets on match-day-13 in the Glo Premier League.

Bechem had lost six times and allowed 21 goals to shipped in prior to kick-off but they could not reverse the trend as Jets scored the premiership's first goal in the New Year through Abubakar Sidi after 26 minutes.

The increased the tally six minutes later from the spot when Emmanuel Laryea converted a penalty to head into the break 2-0 up.

Jets wrapped up the day 14 minute into the second half when Salifu Mamudar scored the final goal to lift them above the relegation zone for now.
