Avram Grant names starting line up for Senegal friendly

Black Stars Coach Avram Grant has named his starting line-up for Saturday evening’s International friendly against Senegal at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre, Paris.

The match will be a repeat of the 2015 AFCON group stage game which ended 2-1 in favor of the Senegalese and Grant’s side are poised for revenge in Saturday’s game.

Razak Braimah who was in post when Ghana finished as silver medalists in the 2015 AFCON, will retain his position as he faces the Teranga Lions for the second time.

Former U-20 star Frank Acheampong has been handed a starting role as he is set to operate on the left of defence for Ghana in the absence of Baba Rahman.

Familiar faces John Boye, Jonathan Mensah and Harrison Afful will all start in defence for Ghana.

2015 AFCON MVP and Everton midfielder Christian Atsu will be in midfield alongside stand-in captain Andre Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso and Afriyie Acquah.

Jordan Ayew and Kwesi Appiah will start in attack for the Black Stars. The match is scheduled for 7:30 GMT.
