Attram De Visser defeated Nsuopun Fidelity 1-0 to secure third place in the X1 DOL Super Cup after a dramatic late winner in the third-place playoff at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
Both teams entered the playoff after suffering defeats in their respective semi-final encounters.
Nsuopun Fidelity were eliminated by Ebusua Dwarfs after a goalless draw, eventually losing 3-2 on penalties. Attram De Visser, meanwhile, suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Semper Fi, conceding in the 90th minute.
The third-place playoff saw Attram De Visser make a strong start and create opportunities, but they were unable to find the breakthrough in the first half. Nsuopun Fidelity came out stronger after the break, but neither side could find the back of the net during regulation time.
With the referee adding four minutes of stoppage time, Attram De Visser finally broke the deadlock. Thomas Okyere's cross caused confusion in the Nsuopun Fidelity defence, with Dickson Felix Kwakye Yeboah turning the ball into his own net to hand Attram De Visser a dramatic late victory.
The result means Attram De Visser finish third in the X1 DOL Super Cup, having scored six goals throughout the competition.
