Atiku and Abu join Black Stars

Ibrahim Atiku and Mohammed Abu have joined the Ghana squad for the match against Nigeria on Tuesday evening.

The duo were called up due to pull outs by some some players who were initially invited by Goran Stevanovic.

John Mensah, Anthony Annan, Daniel Opare, Kwadwo Asamoah and Rabiu Mohammed are all on unable to take part in the game.

Stromgodst midfielder, Abu, who is loan from Manchester City arrived at the team hotel Monday night.

Atiku, a member of the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship side and who plays Swindon Town has also joined the squad.

Fifteen players trained at Watford's Vicarage Road Stadium on Monday.
