AshantiGold SC put four past Bechem United on match day 21 of the Ghana Premier League. Yaw Annor, Amos Addai, Seth Osei and David Abagna scored at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium on Sunday to give the Miners a 4-0 win against the Hunters.

Yaw Annor – playing against his former team opened the scoring for AshantiGold in the 11 minutes.

The winger was instrumental in the second goal as he drew a penalty from Charles Amponsah in the 15th minute.

Captain Amos Addai stepped up to put the ball into the bottom corner for the second goal of the game. Seth Osei added his name to the scorers’ sheet just before the break as he slotted home a 45th minute goal to make it 3-0 for the Miners. Osei scored an absolute beauty after rounding up Bechem Unite goalkeeper Daniel Afedwu before slamming home.

Premier League winner David Abagna who was introduced on the hour mark added the fourth goal six minutes from time to put the ice on the cake.

The win sees AshantiGold SC level on points – 30 with Bechem United but one place above the Hunters in 7th place due to superior goal difference.
