Reigning Champions Asante Kotoko have qualified to the semi-finals of the 2015 MTN FA Cup competition after beating Ashantigold 2-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.

The Ashanti Regional derby saw Owusu Jackson and Atta Kusi score for the Porcupine Warriors to help them brush aside the Premier League leaders.

In another quarter final game played on Wednesday in Dormaa, Eleven Wise were eliminated from the competition with goals from Godfred Saka, Daniel Darkwa and Isaac Amponsah while for Wise scored twice in the second half.

The two sides will face each other in the next round of the competition with Hearts of oak also set to take on Medeama.

The FA Cup Committee will soon announce the date and venue for the semi-final match between Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars.
