Berekum Arsenals' hopes of seeking a stay of execution against an earlier ruling by the Disciplinary Committee, handing them a three-match home ban was not granted.

The DC last week imposed sanctions against Arsenals for the behaviour of their supporters during their match-day-24 fixture against Liberty Professionals on April 20, 2011 at the Golden City Park.

Arsenals were fined totaling GHS 6,000.00 and banned for three home games as per GFA Regulation 39(7)(a) and 35(1)(c).

The club sought to have the decision put on hold but their appeal failed, meaning, Arsenals would play home away from home on the final day of the Glo Premier League this weekend as the ban takes effect.
