The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association today accepted the report of the Dispute Resolution Committee over the candidatures of two persons - Vincent Sowah Odotei and Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe for the election for the Presidency.

The Dispute Resolution Committee after the process of arbitration rejected the separate petitions filed by both individuals contesting the decision of the Elections Committee to disqualify their candidatures to contest for the office of the President.

The decision leaves Kwesi Nyantakyi as the only candidate to contest for the election to the office of the President of the Ghana Football Association - 2011.

The Ex.Co in accordance with article 42.0 of the GFA Statutes referred the matter to the Dispute Resolution Committee after both individuals filed separate notices, contesting the decision of the Elections Committee.

Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe and Vincent Sowah Odotei back in April 2011 did not meet the requirement of Article 28.2 of the GFA Statutes and therefore, could not be recommended to contest election to the position of President of the Ghana Football Association.
