Kwesi Appiah takes his team into through every training session in Holland with one objective, to reach their target at the World Cup.

The Black Stars coach told Ghana's ambassador to Holland, H.E. Dr. Tony Aidoo that he is hopeful his team can meet expectations when the tournament starts next month.

Ghana's team have been training in Arnhem since Sunday evening ahead of their pre-World Cup friendly with the Oranje on Saturday in Rotterdam.

"We appreciate the fact that you have spent your time watching us train. We want to assure you that we will do our best to make Ghana proud," Appiah said.

Dr. Aidoo, who will viewing the World Cup from his base, visited the team and sat through their entire training on Monday night believes the Black Stars can boost their preparations with a win over the Dutch side.

"It is my pleasure to be here to see you train. My purpose here is to wish you well," he said.

"I have been here for four weeks and when I came, I met the King of Holland himself. He told me that they are going to whip you but I promised him that things will be different. I wish you luck and I hope that this time we will teach them a lesson."
