Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah begins monitoring players as he follows through his plan of reserving seats on the flight to Brazil for only the best players.

The Black Stars coach before the World Cup draw stated clearly only the best players will be assembled to represent the country.

"We want the best players and only the best players will be going to Brazil to represent the nation," Appiah said.

"My greatest concern is to have all my players available and without any injuries. I pray for that. I hope we arrive in Brazil with a solid unit and we will take it from there."

Appiah flew out of Accra on Thursday to begin his preparations from England where he will be following the progress of players in the various leagues.

Ghana are drawn against Germany in Group G alongside Portugal and the United States in the first round of next year’s World Cup.
