The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association has suspended Mr. Barimah Atuahene (Board member) and Mr. Kwame Opare Addo(P.R.O) from all officially sanctioned matches involving Hearts of Oak for a period of 12 months.

This ruling is in variation to the earlier decision of the Disciplinary Committee which banned Mr. Atuahene and Mr. Opare Addo from taking part in any football related activity for a period of twenty four (24) months after they were found to have cast insinuations which incited the club’s supporters ahead of their  match against Wa All Stars in Accra.

The Appeals Committee, however, upheld the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee to fine the two individuals GH¢ 6,000 each in accordance with article 54(2) of the GFA Disciplinary Code.
