The first game between both nations at the competition saw the Germans win the five-goal thriller by 3-2 after Ghana had fought from three goals down.

Sunday's third place prize at the Seoul FIFA World Cup Stadium would precede the finals between Nigeria and Spain.

And Ghana coach, Sellas Tetteh says his team would need to pick up from the loss to Spain and get set for the third place match.

"We need to regroup now to try and get third place and put Ghanaian football right up there, which is what we've been doing here so far."

Ghana striker, Sadick Adams, who would be misisng out of Sunday's game through suspension is backing the Black Starlets to grab honours.

"Now we've got to concentrate on finishing third because it's been a while since we finished in the top three, and it's very important we do that for Ghanaian football. As for who will win the trophy, well, it would be good for Africa if Nigeria win."
