Anthony Annan has capped a great display at the 2008 African Cup of Nations with another individual award.

This time, Annan was voted the Most Valuable Player in the third-place match against Ivory Coast at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The midfielder, playing his debut Nations Cup tournament becomes the third player after Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari to win the award.

Annan, playing his third game on the trot for Ghana thus finish the tournament with two personal awards.

He was presented with the Samsung Fair-Play award in semi-final game on Thursday.

Ghana beat the Ivory Coast 4-2 to claim a third-place finish.
