Anthony Annan will make his African Cup of Nations debut after being handed a place in Ghana’s starting team for the final Group A match against Morocco today.

The game kicks off at 17:00GMT at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

The midfielder comes in for the suspended Laryea Kingston as Claude Le Roy makes no changes to the team that started against Guinea and Namibia within the past week.

Annan’s involvement in today’s game means Quincy Owusu-Abeyie starts from the right wing while Sully Muntari goes over to the left side of midfield.

Michael Essien remains in central midfield where he would be partnered by Anthony Annan.

Annan, who turns 22 in July, made his senior debut last year in March when he was called up Claude Le Roy.

Starting line-up:

Richard Kingson, John Paintsil, Hans Adu Sarpei, Eric Addo, John Mensah, Michael Essien, Anthony Annan, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, Sulley Muntari, Asamoah Gyan and Junior Agogo.

Subs: Sammy Adjei, Haminu Draman, Nana Kwasi Asare, Harrison Afful, Alhassan Illiasu, Anthony Annan, Bernard Kumordzi, Andre Ayew, Baffour Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah and Fatau Duada.
