Andre Ayew is delighted to have scored the winning goal for Marseille against bitter rivals Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday in the French Ligue 1.

Marseille finished off PSG 2-1 to stay in second place and four points behind leaders, Lille.

The Ghana attacker headed home the winner at the Stade Velodrome after Clement Chantome had equalized Gabriel Heinze's opener for Marseille.

“We really wanted to win in front of our own fans after what happened in the first game (where PSG won),” Ayew said.

“From a personal point of view, it’s very satisfying. For a player who was formed here to score the winning goal against PSG is a dream come true.”
