Andre Ayew says Ghana are fired up and focused ahead of the crunch Germany clash in Fortaleza on Saturday.

Following an opening defeat at the World Cup to the United States on Monday coupled with Germany's victory over Portugal, the lines are drawn for battle.

After enjoying a not-too impressive start, Ayew, who scored in Ghana's opening fixture says nobody's head has dropped as the Black Stars push for their first three points.

''What I can tell you is that, tomorrow we are going to die for our nation and do everything [to] make our people proud,'' Andre said on the eve of the game against the three-time champions.

The attacker, who with his younger brother Jordan in the Ghana squad insists family issues will have little significance in the game against Germany, who will parade Jerome Boateng, the half-brother of Ghana's Kevin-Prince.

''Tomorrow it's not about the Ayew bothers or the Boateng brothers. It's Ghana versus Germany, and what's important is that we have a good game,'' Ayew said.
