Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has described Andre Ayew as a world-class player.

The Marseille midfielder, now 24 years-old has been putting in mature performances for the Black Stars since making his senior debut in 2007.

The Black Stars coach believes Andre, also known as 'Dede' has potential to take his game to another level.

Appiah said: “Dede is a world-class player.”

As one of the key members in Ghana's previous World Cup team in South Africa 2010, the player, son of former Ghana captain, Abedi Ayew Pele continues to offer more that has had everyone praising him.

“And the good thing about him that all Ghanaians love is that when the team is down, he pushes everyone to fight,” said the Ghana coach.

Andre Ayew featured in three of Ghana's 2014 World Cup qualifiers as the Black Stars reached a third-successive appearance at the finals in Brazil.
