Holders Ampem Darkoa Ladies were off to a flying start in the Women’s FA Cup as they crashed Dormaa Candy Soccer Academy 2-0 in the Round of 64 of the Cup competition. Latifa Abesik and Mary Amponsah got on target for the League champions as they comfortably eased passed their opponents at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman.

Sekondi based Hasaacas Ladies who lost the title to Ampem Darkoa Ladies record a cricket Fiase scoreline – 24-0 over lower tier side Fiase Golden Royals at the Fijai Senior High school Park.

Berry Ladies came out victorious in the all-Premier League game against Faith Ladies at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman. The Tema based side defeated their rivals 3-1 to sail through to the next round after the ignominy of losing to Police Ladies in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League before the break. Maybel Amoyaw and Portia Sakyiwaa got on target for the visitors as Ernestina Amoateng pulled one back for the home team but it wasn’t enough to take them through to the Round of 32.
