Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been crowned Northern Zone champions of the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, sealing an impressive campaign that underlined their dominance in the northern sector of Ghana’s top-flight women’s competition.

The Techiman-based side secured the title after a remarkable run of performances that saw them outclass their rivals throughout the season. The team’s determination and resilience ensured they remained at the summit of the Northern Zonal standings. With the Northern Zone title secured, Ampem Darkoa Ladies will now set sight on the Women’s Premier League championship playoff, where they will face Southern Zone champions, Hasaacas Ladies.

The highly anticipated showdown is scheduled for April 19 at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
