Ampem Darkoa Ladies have equalled the record of giants Hasaacas Ladies after delivering a commanding performance over the weekend to win the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League final.

In a highly anticipated clash between two of the country’s most successful clubs, Ampem Darkoa showed composure, tactical discipline, and attacking quality to overcome Hasaacas and lift the coveted league trophy.

The two giants now have five trophies each to their credit and the recent victory not only secured the title but also brought Ampem Darkoa level with Hasaacas in terms of overall Women’s Premier League triumphs, further intensifying their rivalry.

Their success also earns them the honor of representing Ghana at the WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifier, where they will compete against top clubs from the West African region for a place in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
