Ghana international Matthew Amoah kicked off his club campaign this season with a goal as NAC Breda drew 1-1 with AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Amoah's second half equaliser saved Breda from defeat after Alkmaar had jumped into the lead in the 58th minute.

The game was the opening match for both sides in the Eredivisie.
